Completely ignoring Sampson and Claire in The Beast In Me and just winning the race isn't great. You piss off Claire, lose out on all rewards, and stopping for Sampson still gives you the chance to do what you think is morally right.

Brotherhood ending? Railroad and Institute dead. Railroad ending? Brotherhood and Institute dead. Institute, you get it, both Railroad and Brotherhood are gunna have to die. Minutemen ending though, if you play nice with everyone else only the Institute has to die. I prefer the Minutemen ending because it leaves to most vendors alive that sell decent amounts of ammo.

I always struggle with choices in game because they are so irrational. For me the best ending would be that V trusts Johnny and gives his body to Johnny for the final quest, Johnny gets revenge with Smasher and control, Johnny, trusts and values V so gives the body back to V for the final decision, the first time that Johnny does not only act for himself but for someone else. V goes back to the city and leaves with Panam. It completes Johnnys character arc. That is what I did the first playthrough. Then Panam was angry, broke up and V kills himself in a stupid last mission. What the fuck is that ending. So I loaded a save before, looked up the endings and played for the ending that V gets to leave with Panam. So the game is telling me that V, after getting his body back, does not once talk to Panam and Panam does not say that she knows people? They don't ever talk about leaving? V had to take over the afterlife? V can't even decide to leave even though the result of the final mission is basically the same, no matter if you let Johnny or V have control? V instead has to risk a random clan of nomads that have become his friends just to have a happy ending? It makes no sense, it is selfish and just much more risky than going with Johnny and Rogue. I hate when games do that and it upset me quite a bit to have picked the sad ending at first and then be locked into that sad ending for no reason. It is a flaw that lots of games have and it often leads me to look up consequences beforehand because I don't trust the story tellers to make reasonable choices. Cyberpunk already did a pretty good job with not destroying the whole ending after one bad choice, basically instead of a machine that gets everything 100% right, you get to be a human with arguments and disagreement. But in the end the final choice and it's consequences for the ending annoy me.

I found a lot of the Tower ending seemed contrived and disingenuous. 2 years and all these friends that were praising you for saving their lives and fixing their problems are basically like, "Oh, you're still here? Good luck with that, I guess."

Arguably toughest fight in the game... I'd put it at 3rd. For me, it's a toss up for 1st and 2nd as killing everything at border (turrets, flying mechs, and all skull enemies) and other is 5 stars in badlands. 3 and 4 star badland cops are suvs with 4 enemies and some are all 4 skull enemies and they keep coming. Up to 5 star adds maxtac, lots of heavy skull enemies and nowhere to hide and regroup yourself by recharging things makes this very hard and fun. I personally don't like netrunner stuff. Im purely hard aggression (katana 148 dmg and 2 4 second cyclone mods, electric tomahawk, smg with big mag and explosive rounds that has shoots faster perk and full reload just switching to it and sandy). In city I've deleted 15 MT squads and just ended it by going into a shop cuz they clearly can't stop me. Longest I've survived badlands 5 stars was i think 3 or 4 MT squads and it's a ton of running and dash jumping away to hit smart sniper headshots with 2 +20% strong enemy damage mods, refill sandy/nades/health charges, then charge them aggressively with blades and sandy. But border is super tough with no quick hacks because as you start attacking then the stars add in even more enemies. I can handle dogtown entrance, but the NC border is hard as hell.

The reason is simple: the acceptance of their existence is one thing, however embracing those decisions in our escapist fantasies, that's a level of intellectual maturity that's downright hope-inspiring. We collectively no longer require black and white moral frameworks to enjoy art. I think that's pretty nifty. You seem to appreciate that as well, just as an observation of your commentary in many of your videos. That's the real reason I'm subbed to you. You look beyond the nuts and bolts of a game and go right for the heart of what the devs are putting out there for us to digest. I value that.

In my last (second) playthrough I gave Johnny the body. Kinda inspired by So Mi, who begged me just to die. Her outbreak in the stadium reminded me of what a mindless killing machine I have become myself, running around with Erebus and sending everyone beyond the Blackwall. Although being probably the most dangerous and successful merc, I felt more like a cyberpsycho at the end which even MaxTac hardly could stop. Probably for the better to end my power trip.

Honestly, I feel like in a Minutemen ending, war with the Brotherhood was going to be inevitable if the Brotherhood didn't leave the Commonwealth. The Brotherhood is willing to collect their "tribute" from settlements by any means, even using lethal force, something that the Minutemen are definitely not going to be pleased with. And the Brotherhood is also not into the Minutemen having the control, support, and firepower they do after defeating the Institute, because the Brotherhood never really likes having a faction that can oppose them existing. Not to mention they both equally don't trust and dislike one another, and the general populace of the Commonwealth don't like the Brotherhood in general. So it's very likely that things will boil over into conflict eventually.

I wiped out the Children of Atom (Had to fight my way out because I wasn't able to convince them to nuke themselves and they agro if you do it), sent Kasumi home and then stormed Acadia with the Brotherhood. I told Avery, Allen and Teddy the truth but didn't go any further with it to get the BoS ending.

The fact that if you get the castle outpost settlement set up first with artillery the brotherhood of steel literally just do the most stupidist thing and still park thier battle blimp right at the airport within the artillery range like seriously guys you lot are supposed to be highly trained military like guys and thats where you park your mobile base

best ending is what i call brotherhood alternate, work with all factions (dont destroy railroad) until the institute sends you to mass fusion, instead of going to mass fusion alert the brotherhood and then finish the game from there
